Up For Sale or Trade is a 1997 Ford Taurus 4 Door Family Sedan.
It is Golden in color and has a straight body. It has power windows and locks the back doors have child proof locks on them.
You can open the trunk by key or by the button beside the steering wheel.
The car has around 100,000 miles on it but the odomoter stoped working in Feb of this year and reads around 92,000 miles. The speed odomoter works fine. I was told it was a simple cable that just needs to be replaced but I can't do it.
The car is tagged and inspected legally in the state of Texas and is good thru 2008.
It has a 6 Cylinder Gasoline Engine.
Transmission 4 Speed Automatic with Overdrive.
The car is good on gas and gets around 28-30 miles in town and 30-32 miles on the hwy.
I can fill the tank up and drive around dfw for almost a week and half.
The car is automatic and has cruise control to which I love.
It has the basic am/fm radio in it which sucks as it's not a cd player but the radio and speakers work really good without any problems. I have a clear title to this car and I am looking to sell it by the end of this weekend.
There is nothing majorly wrong with the car at all.
There are no leaks, the car has a brand new ac(have receipt somewhere as there is a warranty on it) in it that was put in a few months ago. It blows really cold air and really hot heat.
The radiator went out a couple of months ago and so replaced it and bought a new one and have already put it in. (Have receipt somewhere as there is a warranty on it). The headlights work really good on the car but look kind of filmy and need new ones I think but they work fine and bright.
The back bumper of the car was hit at Walmart by either a car or a buggy and where it was hit the paint is peeling off. Not real bad but chipping a little
The only thing I will say is that I have kids and they tend to make messes and the car does need a good cleaning.
I have called around and was quoted $100.00 for steam cleaning.
I am asking $2,500 O.B.O. for the car.
